His Last Meal

As we were driving up to Provo, Trevor wore just regular relaxing clothes and as we got closer to Provo I looked back and I saw him fully dressed in his suit. I had to take a minute to just look at him and take it in. He looked the way he does every time before a football, rugby or soccer game, FOCUSED.

At that moment I realized he is just about to play a different game and he just put on the Lord's Jersey.

Out of all the places he wanted to go and eat, he chose In-N-Out.

My cousins Jasen and Samson came to meet us and brought Trevor a few gifts,

a watch and a big bag of candy for the MTC. Is was so thoughtful of them

to come and wish Trevor well on his mission. Family is wonderful!!

Setting Apart as a Missionary

It was a beautiful day which turned into a wonderful evening. The time was getting closer and closer for Trevor to become a Missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

He met with the stake president at 7:15pm at his office and they both came back to our home where family and friends were waiting. The Stake President gave some wonderful advice about what Trevor is about to embark on. His wife shared a few words as well about Missionary Work and living in Faith.

Trevor was then encircled by the men who mean alot to him in his life and helped the Stake President set him apart as a Full Time Missionary. I watched my son go from a young man to a missionary and watched his countenance change. He had this look on his face that said, "I am ready to serve!!!"
